Change your words, change your world

Recently I've been distressed over the global food shortage, thinking, "This imbalance in the world is terrible. And I can't do anything about it!" Seeing the negativity in these thoughts, and knowing how important it is to phrase things in the positive, eventually I changed it to, "I'd love a world where everybody has enough, and where we help each other."

That felt so much better! Finding a strategy to help create that better world also became much easier -- I found and donated something to a nonprofit doing work to empower local people in Africa to learn sustainable farming and more. A small step? Yes, but it'll mean more food security for someone.
